Ghastly screams haunt me
The wind fills my ears, my ears!
With the damned whispers of those long gone
I walk in a dark alley.
The rain falls on me.
I feel the wet drops on my skin.
The rain turns to snow
The snow turns to hail
The hail then turns to stone
All of a sudden
Everything stops
A gumball hits my skin
Behind me, tortured voices follow my wake
Hounds from hell bay at my tracks
I attempt to run
I take a step forward
I fall
I am falling for what seems an eternity
Into a chasm where there once was solid road
The whispering ravine swallows me whole
For many a dream
One need only to close his eyes

"What is this about betrayal?" demanded Malkknrre as he was forcefully dragged into the center of the chamber. "Were you referring to me? I did no such thing!" he exclaimed. He was glaring with a look that promised death to the councilor that had burst out at him.

He sat on the fluffy carpet, for once in the day feeling at ease. When Geirrha finally decided to show up and sway the council, he himself would rip the Dark One's throat out. He shook

Mal'haran banged his fists on the table. The legs gave way with a sickening crack and sent splinters flying at Mal'Haran's legs. The sound of breaking china filled the room. His breeches protected him but he quivered with rage. His lower lip quivered with indignation as he remembered last night's events.
"Well, Algaisia, what do you have to say for yourself?" said the voice in the darkness.
"I am the Dark One, someone who strikes fear into the hearts of any who even hear of my name. Mal'haran is my name, n-not Algaisia!" he had raised his voice. The voice knew his weakness, and he was sh
